Maximal thrust |
|
In a traditional bicycle, the cyclist weight permits the thrust on the
pedals.
Unfortunately, during a strong acceleration, or when you are
going uphill, the thrust of the legs can exceed the weight of the
cyclist. You therefore have to stand up on the pedals and all your
body has to work to maintain the pelvis, with only one fixed support:
the hands on the handlebars (in this position, it is not possible to
remove the hands of the handlebars!)

|
On a recumbent bicycle, the pelvis is better supported: the thrust of the legs can be more considerable.
On a H-Zontal Bike, the pelvis support maintains the hip and generates
a very efficient support which allows your legs to produce more power
and what is even more fantastic is that you don't need to stand up on
the pedals to accelerate like a rocket !
